UKMC offers a wide range of courses designed to teach you or your team the importance of health and safety in the workplace. These courses cover a variety of subjects and are suited to learners of all levels, whether you have previous qualifications or not.
Courses that are at level 1 begin to introduce and teach the very basics of health and safety. These courses cover everything from what equipment needs to be warn, what to do in the case of fire, and how personnel should carry themselves in their work environment.
These courses are suitable for people of all experience levels. They take around 7-10 hours to complete and once finished learners will have a much better understanding of health and safety in the workplace.
Building from these, level 2 courses offer a more advanced teaching experience. Still suitable for learners of all levels, these courses can help train learners to better understand the requirements of their workplace. Topics covered include risk assessment, fire safety and safe manual handling and are suitable for a range of industries.
More advanced courses are also available for those with previous qualifications. Level 3 courses cover much more advanced teachings and are suitable for those seeking a specialised career. Courses at this level take around 50 hours to complete.
This level of training can be useful for learners who wish to go into hazardous worksites such as building sites or other dangerous workplaces. Learners at this level will also be assessed on how well they have understood the course material before being granted their qualification.
